Saucony Jazz

The Saucony Jazz is the most popular running shoe release by Saucony.

Launched in 1981, it was the most technical performance running shoe of its time, transforming Saucony into one of the most important manufacturers of athletic shoes and apparel in the world.

Today, it is the centerpiece of Saucony’s Originals Collection. Together with the Shadow, Bullet and Courageous sneakers, they make up a unique line of authentic running shoes brought back to celebrate Saucony’s glorious past in the athletic world.

When Jazz O was launched, the brand became legendary for its fit and triangular outsole lugs. At the time it was endorsed by Rod Dixon, winner at the 1983 New York City Marathon.

The Jazz Original offered plenty of comfort and it had a simple, classic appearance. You can find it here.

In 2002, they redesigned the shoe, releasing the Jazz Low Pro with a less thicker sole, which is a sleeker alternative to the classic Saucony Jazz Original silhouette.

Technically speaking, Saucony has a lot to offer: the shock-absorbing foot bed, reliable traction from the rubber outsole and a durable nylon/suede upper with padded tongue and collar make sure you can walk all day with them and feel comfortable and no pain.

They are light weight and cushy but also supportive, so you can do pretty much anything with them: work out in at the gym, run after the bus, jog on the beach and even climb a mountain.
