Recycle Your Sneakers (OurSports Central)

Nike Air Force 1 Sneakers

History And Facts About The Nike Air Force One Sneakers

The Air Force 1 sneakers first came to life in 1982. Its name comes from the new Nike Air cushioning technology that the company patented the same year.

This “Air” technology, for which Nike had exclusivity for 15 years, enabled them to manufacture sneakers at a previously unimaginable speed and quality, by using air at a high pressure. Other manufacturers finally managed to get their hands on this technique in 1997 when Nike’s patent expired.

Air Force 1 sneakers were commercialized between 1982 and 1984 and then in 1990 they were reissued, getting record sales.

As all items in the Air family, all Air force 1 sneakers models have printed on the back side the silhouette of Michael Jordan, the best basketball player of all times.

Of course, the well known Nike swoosh logo can also be found on them, on both sides.

If you are a passionate of the Nike Air line, then the Air Force one sneakers are a very good choice. They can complement your overall look and create a bold statement that others can only respect.
