Basketball Sneakers

Your sneakers are probably the most important piece of equipment when you want to play basketball. Without a good pair you’re practically paralyzed, unable to get some speed, dribble or jump effectively.

When you’re playing a game with your friends or your team, you need a pair of shoes that are comfortable and allow you unleash your full potential.

Basketball sneakers have a very good adherence to the soil making possible for you to accelerate and stop very fast and dribble the other players easier.

Also, they help you to jump higher when throwing the ball and we all know how important that is.

Putting on a regular pair of shoes before the match will lead you the usual problems, like the laces accidentally untying themselves. There’s nothing I hate more when I’m concentrated on doing my best in the field.

Basketball sneakers however don’t untie themselves as often. The laces are made out of specially treated cotton making them less likely to untie themselves when you least expect it. You won’t need to stop the game every 10 minutes to tie your laces back on any more.

Basketball sneakers also protect your ankle during the game. They have an extension in the back that covers the ankle protecting it against some fractures that may occur when landing incorrectly on the foot.

However, that extension can do the opposite in the everyday life because it weakens the ankle if the shoes are worn for long periods of time. The obvious advice here is to wear the basketball shoes only to play the game, or when you’re involved in some activity that may injure you ankles. When you’re doing something ‘safer’, choose a different type of shoes.
