The recent Nike vs. Adidas dispute didn’t remain on after a pair of sneakers that were using some technology that was patented by Nike.
Two week after the lawsuit, another problem rose when a Spanish court lifted the injunction that prevented 18-year-old Lionel Messi from wearing Adidas soccer sneakers.
Nike, who won that injunction at the same court, said that it will make an appeal.
Nike previously had a contract with Lionel Messi, but on Feb 1 he switched to Nike’s competitor, Adidas with whom he signed a contract for 5 years. That wasn’t good news for world’s biggest sneakers manufacturer.
So there you go, another lawsuit. Will it ever end? |
